Together with the John L. Scott Foundation we are dedicated to ensuring that all children receive the medical care they need. Our voluntary contributions help sponsor events that raise millions of dollars for more than 18 Children’s Hospitals throughout the Pacific Northwest. We also volunteer our personal time at the Seattle Children’s Hospital.

The John L. Scott Foundation sponsored the Seattle Ronald McDonald House Auction and Gala on October 20 at the Seattle Sheraton Ballroom. This annual event raised more than $600,000 for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Washington & Alaska. Former Seattle Mariner Edgar Martinez and his wife Holli were honorary chairs. JLS Seattle Center agents Ryan Thompson and Jocelyn Roberts attended and represented John L. Scott well.

The Thompson Team acted as the event sponsor for the Spring 2005 meeting of the Seattle chapter of Social Venture Partners (SVP). SVP is a national organization of philanthropists dedicated to providing substantial grants, support, and volunteers to non-profits that benefit education, environment, and equal opportunity. SVP Seattle is open to “Professionals looking for a way to invest their time, skills and resources in the Puget Sound community.”
